I have had two days where my mind has been on holiday and forgotten to take the reast of me with it.
It started when I had to go and buy a mobile phone from Argos for my grandparents....and managed to leave my own phone behind.
So this morning it was back to Argos stopping for petrol first...where I went to pay for the petrol before putting it in.
I was just chuffed that the person who found my phone handed it in and it's come back safe and sound as I do rather personalise my objects. When my luggage went missing in Amsterdam airport for 24hrs I was worried sick as my suitcase doesn't speak Dutch.
Yes that's how my mind 'works'.
I do enjoy your posts Beki :) and it's reassuring to know that I'm not the only one doing such things.

I have my home number stored on my phone. It's labeled as home.
So far every time I have left it somewhere like the back of a taxi when I've been 3 sheets to the wind so to speak, some kind person has dialed home and spoke to my ( in hysterical fits of laughter ) wife and explained the really wierd place they have found my phone and when can they drop it off.
Touch would someone always gets it back to me.
