On Thursday I took my friend out for a thank you meal as she was a huge help when Funny Bunny the cat went missing. Knowing she loves roast dinners we went to a local garden centre which has a restaurant which does the best cavery I have ever had (and trust me I know carveries!).
A very pleasant meal was had followed by a lovely wander around their Christmas displays which are manna for people easily distracted by sparkly things such as we are. I'm going to have to go back and treat myself to the glittery mushroom decoration which looks like a knob, my puerile sense of humour demands it.
On the way out my friend bought two pumpkins ready for carving (she is very talented in all things craft). A super bargain if you ask me - £1.50 each, see below. Can't think why people were giggling as she carried them back to the car!

Yes, buy it and then invite round a collection of maiden aunts. You could run a book on which would be the first to comment.
And of course post a picture so we can have a giggle too!
