look at me ignoring my blog again. I should be blog flogged.
The last few weeks have had some rather fraught moments, including Funny Bunny the agoraphobic cat getting spooked, escaping out of the backdoor and going missing for 5 days. Cue a lot of sleepless nights, flyer drops and stressed stomach. Instead of recounting the whole affair I will skip to the happy ending of Funny Bunny returning home stressed, dirty but thankfully unhurt. Since his return he has a rampant appetite and avoids the backdoors and windows like the plague.
Other news. Well I hardly set the radio waves on fire on the latest series of RFTP. Items I did get through either stalled at the read through stage or if recorded didn't make the edit for the broadcast. Got some lines through into a merged sketch and some montage liners. As such I won't be recommended for the third series if it is commissioned.
Now you may imagine that news had me wailing and brow beating but strangely not. I cannot thank the producer and editors on the show enough for the opportunity and I have learnt a great deal which now stays with me. Admittedly I never felt quite in tune with the show and its genre/content but it has left me with new knowledge, encouragement and it would have been foolish beyond compare to expect that avenue to be the be all and end all.
As it is I have some momentum now, an immeasurable amount of new courage than 10 months before. Yep can you believe it just 10 months since I said like a mouse, should I have a go at that BBC Sketch Factor competition? I'm ready to fight on and as such I have a couple of things in the pipline now and something lined up for the new year.
This positive new me is frightening isn't it?
I know what would help my writing - if I kept up with this blog for a start.
And yes, I'm going to go for NaNoWriMo this November!
go for it!!

Not frightening but fabulous!
Go get 'em, babe! We're right behind you.
Is the New Year project to remain a mystery?

You're right it was a brilliant opportunity and excellent experience. Now, very slightly older but no doubt much wiser, it's onwards and upwards!

Glad to hear Funny Bunny came back! A similar thing happened to Stiltzkin last year. We still have no idea where he was, but on his return he was really grimy and extremely disgruntled, so I suspect he may have been shut in somewhere.
Good luck with NaNo!
