I have had two days where my mind has been on holiday and forgotten to take the reast of me with it.

It started when I had to go and buy a mobile phone from Argos for my grandparents....and managed to leave my own phone behind. 

So this morning it was back to Argos stopping for petrol first...where I went to pay for the petrol before putting it in.

I was just chuffed that the person who found my phone handed it in and it's come back safe and sound as I do rather personalise my objects. When my luggage went missing in Amsterdam airport for 24hrs I was worried sick as my suitcase doesn't speak Dutch.

Yes that's how my mind 'works'.

Twitter-Woo..it's a small world with big distances

I have joined the world of Twitter too (BekiHobbs). I'm not too sure why other than succumbing to my lemming instinct of following others, the welcome addition of something else to distract me from real world and the ability to stalk the thoughts of comedians on line.

Today is as an odd day. I don't usually use the blog as a public diary for private thoughts or pour my heart out and have no intention to start but today is one of those day's where everything seems emotionally heavy. Every thought in my head is blown up and dissected to forensic level. This is one of my worse traits and a common one too so I am sure many of you are nodding your head muttering 'me too'.

Rather than sit drowning in the thought that everything every is a problem and I, solely, must solve everything every within the next ten minutes I will share some good news.

I've been invited to a BBC comedy workshop as one of the promising contributors to RFTP. I'm so pleased and will be heading down in May. I do think 'promising' may be my epitaph at a 100 but I think it's one of the best things to be!

Snow Day

The problem with working for yourself, from home is that come an exciting snow day like yesterday, you can't ive yourself time off. I mean the snow would have to be 'Day After Tomorrow' bad to stop me getting across the landing to my study...

I did grab some photos though, starting with the tree I look out onto from my study

At 8.30pm I did sneak a break to build a mini snowman, but only one eye would stick on his face so I called him Nelson
