I've been very busy on the old writing front.
'So why is your blog so willfully negelcted?' I hear you cry.
I have no defence m'Lud.
The reason for this hive of activity. Well we are in the swing now for writing the second series of Recorded For Training Purposes. We've (the new writers...erm what is the collective for a group of new writers) have also been pointed in the direction of two other possible outlets.
i am determined to give it my all!
But, I have found this comedy writing lark plays havoc with your bodyclock. My mind is wired to kick into action as my head hits the pillow at night, with no respect to how tired I may be. I've found it is pointless trying to override it or making promises to get straight to work on it in the morning. The idea demands attention now. it is like an ill brought up toddler.
So for many nights I have given in, gotten up at all hours, made a cuppa and scribbled on a pad in nighttime scrawl.
Now I am bringing the laptop to bed with me!
I'm extremely nervous and excited by the whole writing process. And I promise not to forget my blog, if only to make you suffer the journey with me!
Discalimer: I do not look as serene as that picture above

Hmm, now I know that you will be up at all hours I might just have to log in to MSN and see if you are about! To keep you motivated and nothing else of course!

There's something very "professional writer" about ideas spilling out in the wee small hours. I envisage a large scotch and an overflowing ashtray near at hand.
Now if we could just transplant the entire scene to a seedy jazz club...

I really hate when that happens---you're exhausted and then your mind starts running in circles. aggghhh!

Didn't I just say that last night when my other half complained about me getting up again after we'd already gone to bed? But then there's a reason why I don't have a 9-5 job.
