Well last night was the big night - my very first (and hopefully not last!) writing credit on Radio 4. I stayed up to listen to it. Oddly I wasn't wildly excited when I was listening, I just had an almost serene sense of calm. You can hear last night's episode again (until next Thursday 15th Jan) by clicking here.
I will keep you posted if I manage to get anything else on.
I'd like to say a big THANK YOU to all those people who have visited this blog whilst I was on the Sketch Factor journey and offered me such great support. You've been inspiring, patient and I am truly grateful for all your spurring comments and encouragement!
I am also happy tonight as at last - we have had big, fluffly snowflakes, my snow desire is now satisifed.
Things to look forward to - in not to long I will be going to a health farm for a Spa day (a win) and look forward to being pampered:
you're now a broadcasted comedy writer!!

Well done for getting onto the show. My fears that your skits were going to knock mine out of the show proved unfounded, so congratulations and good luck for future shows.
Cheers,
That other Sketch Factor writer

Splendid, hon. "Bring your own water" indeed!
The show was bit patchy, with some of it definitely funnier than other bits but it's good to see the Beeb trying to bring on new comedy writers and it's good to see you're one of 'em!

That's brilliant! Give yourself a pat on the back.

Well played. The BBC do seem to be embracing some good new stuff. Give it 10 years someone might touch my stuff, lol!
