I have been tagged by Sharon for a great new idea to help ‘writerly’ people form a ‘people’s collection list’ from which can spring article ideas, research help or help with forming characters in fiction. All those experiences, idiosyncrasies and everyday facts about ourselves that make us such an interesting and varied bunch!
So tagged by Sharon here are five things not generally known about me
1 I’ve had three babies named after me
2 I was extremely ill as an adult with chickenpox during which time my fever made me hallucinate and I thought I was Maureen Lipman
3 I design and sew my own cross stitch cards
4 33 and not a filling in my head *grin*
5 One of my best friends, Liz, died when we were 18 and I believe she sent a message, which was very significant and precise, to me in a dream shortly after her death which I only confided in my mother. A few years later I was speaking to old school friend I had not seen since Liz’s death. She told me a spiritualist had given her a message from Liz – it was word for word what I had been told in my dream.
I am going to tag Marjory, Keris, Kate, China Blue and Pete. But you don’t have to wait to be tagged if you want to add 5 facts things about yourself to help the resource grow please do and let me know in the comments list!
PLEASE LEAVE THE FOLLOWING IN ALL ‘PEOPLE COLLECTION’ POSTS
Remember that it isn’t always the sensational stuff that writers are looking for, it can just as easily be something that you take for granted like having raised twins or knowing how to grow beetroot. Mind you, if you know how to fly a helicopter or have worked as a film extra, do feel free to let the rest of us know about it :-)
I am desparately trying to think of something I have stuck on one of those drated questions list of my mate Dave's!!

Hi and welcome Caroline.
I think Maureen Lipman was in my mind because I'd just finished one of her books and it was at the time she was doing the BT adverts.
Supposedly I was insistent that "I" was filming a new advert and had to go and meet the make up artist!

I too have suffered the perils of chicken pox, 3 times but fortunately no visible scars. I don't have any fillings either. I'm a bit peeved Liz never got in touch though x

No fillings! I wish I could say the same! Mind you, I'd be happy to be able to say I have teeth!

Thanks for tagging me!
Now I have to find things I haven't blogged about... :)
You thought you were Maureen Lipman??? Chickenpox is a beeyatch, at any age.

Maureen Lipman? Weirdo!! LOL
I once had a 'dream' about a recently died friend. He had been murdered and I was worrying about him (Odd seeing he was dead) I dreamt he came into my living room and I asked him if he was o.k, he sounded a bit sad, but said yes he was alright. I asked him if I could give him a cuddle and he told me no, he couldn't cuddle me.
I am convinced it was a visitation and not a dream because I had smelt his aftershave in the house earlier in the day and told him not to jump out at me as it would freak me out and to come and see me while I was asleep!! A psychologust would say it wasn't, but it made me feel a lot better.
