Today I went to the British GT race to support Ryan I do PR for. The day was subject to the most torrential downpours, conditions to challenge not just the race drivers but the spectators. As I sat in the haven of the car to watch the race I couldn't help but admire the sight below. This spectator had brought his deck chair and there was no way he would be beaten. This is the type of spectator who keeps British Motorsport alive, even if he is at risk of hypothermia himself. In fact he didn't move through the two hour race...perhaps he had died and was still left over from the British Superbikes a few weeks ago?
A deserved winner of my Spectator Award - May
Probably just a bloke from the Council doing a traffic count?

Actually, that might be my Dad. If he's paid for something a hurricane wouldn't stop him doing it LOL

Giddy Aunt! I wonder if he had a wetsuit and thermals on under his clothes?

That's fantastic. I used to date someone like that - much better admiring their fortitude from a safe distance :).
