I had the most AWESOME time at the Download Festival and am still catching up but more coherent posts will appear....at some point!

In the meantime I've started my Download 07 photo album so have a look at that. And some of my mutterings can be found at BBCi Derby.

I'd like to say I didn't doctor this photo....

....but I couldn't resist.

He (Jared Leto if you're wondering) said hello.  I giggled like a schoolgirl. I am sad and there is no defence! (Actually he was a very nice guy indeed, absolutely gorgeous, I mean BEAUTIFULLY so, polite, friendly - what a package deal!)

At least one person met me this weekend and appreciated my greatness, hehe. It was wonderful to meet fellow blogger Steg - go see what he said about me.  I didn't pay him or ply him with drugs I promise!! He is officially my new best friend! Pleasure to meet you kind sir and hope to see at another musicalfest soon!

Now Jared was once engaged to Cameron Diaz...I'm about four times the size of her therefore he'd have quadruple the fun, hey it adds up in my mind...

Steg and myself will be rocking out on the Sunday at Download.

You have been warned!

Great news Steg can make the last day - can't think of anyone more deserving of a grand day out! It will of course be day three of my festival experience and I can't help but think all illusions Steg has of me being an accomplished wit and ladylike may be blown from the water by that point!! By day three its all bowel related (either you haven't been or you can't stop...) and blisters!

And The Excitement Begins

I am now into countdown mode for Download (as you can see in the top right hand corner!)

Once again I will be reporting back for BBCi Derby , in fact I will be on the radio on Monday talking about some of the preparations we festival go-ers make which aren't as well known. On Monday I'll be talking about trying to keep hayfever under control whilst going as metal as a spoon. Seriously - you don't want to headbang with a runny nose for obvious reasons.

Oh I'm getting all excited! And the passes Mum and I have mean we have access to the most important part of a festival - decent toilets - hurrah!

An interesting line up this year to look forward to including Motley Crue who I never saw in the 80s spandex heyday. And I've never seen Marilyn Manson before and I hope he puts on the theatrical set you'd expect.

Ooh and the shopping at the festival...in fact I'd better go and get into training...
