Naughty, naughty Russell Brand (and side kick Jonathan Ross). I'm not going into my view of the whole debacle bar it has been blown out of all proportion and has become another  Daily Mail witch hunt. I like Russell Brand, especially on a shallow, aesthtic level so will use the news to blatantly put a piccie of him up for me to oooh at.  I'm neither satanic nor a slut but if his punishment is a good spanking I'll give it a go...

That said would I like Russell to phone my Gran to say he'd slept with me? Certainly not - it would be grossly unfair to get her hopes up that her grandaughter may actually get taken off the shelf.

I don't mind being catergorised as an old stick in the mud along with Prince Charles for thinking a lot of modern architecture comes under the description carbuncle.

On the news sites today the Accordia housing estate in Cambridgeshire has been awarded the 2008 Stirling Prize for architecture. Now I have never been to the estate so cannot comment on the room sizes and proportions which enamoured the judges.

Their descriptions of the estate include it is "not afraid of communal aspirations and aesthetics" and "It is architecture which gives hope for us all for the future". High praise.

So am I the only one that on seeing the article's accompany photo of part of the estate below immediately thought of crematoriums and Nazi gas chambers?:
