Touch wood, cross fingers, wink at magpies - whatever your superstition can we all hope the curse of London doesn't strike for me in May. Whenever I've meant to be going to London in recent years something has always gone wrong and prevented me.
Well I will not be beaten and in May I am, I AM, going down for a BBC Comedy Workshop. The train is booked, the hotel is booked so I won't be walking under any ladders 'til then.
After a day of workshopping our sketches are being performed that very evening (eek), if it's an open gig I'll let you know.
I haven't been finding enough time to write of late but there are a few ideas lolling around my mind, elbowing for room. No doubt nearer the day I'll be a bag of nerves and convinced I'm a creative void.
Let's have some inspiration - 2 of my favourite sketch characters of late. I *heart* Armstrong and Miller.
Pip pip.
good luck. i'm working there monday - wed, yeuck
