It has confirmed if, sorry when, I win the lottery I am not moving my lock, stock and barrel fat cats to a hot country. I can’t do sunbathing any more either, boredom and rigor mortis sets in after five minutes and I only go a darker shade of white anyhow.
I like winter, I like the cold, I like huge jumpers that cover my lumps and bumps. I have reverse SAD!
And it is true we are weather obsessed in the UK. We have so many Old Wive’s Tales and sayings about such things.
Swallows high, staying dry. Swallows low, wet will blow.
Red Sky in the morning, Shepherd’s warning.
Red sky at night, Pallet Yard’s alight.
Back to our big fire…there is a rumour it may have been arson. I wondered if it was a confused terrorist thinking he was targeting Palletstine.
In complete agreement about the weather - Iceland sounds nice!
Palletstine? Please.

My Dad - "it's too hot", "it's too cold". I think there was one day in ooh 1986 I think when it was "just right".
I preferred it last week. Being on holiday with a sea breeze helps!
If I won the lottery? Uuummmm will save it for a blog entry! :D

I'm with you, someone has definitely been fiddling with the old thermostat. I thought we had thunder storms forcast for today, but no joy yet.

Yes - where are our thunderstorms? I was looking forward to them, thought they may clear the air a bit and thunder rain is great for the garden.
Steg: Do you think my Palletstine needs a pun warning :o)

Most certainly!
Mind you, terrorism could be a possibility if the pallet yard is near a railway line. Because then one could say that it "is raily"!
Bwahahahahaha.
Sorry.

Beki & Steg, you are both guilty of the crime of heinous punning - they were funny though LOL
The weather is really off at the moment, I don't mind warm, but this just stupid, and it's too humid!
