I'm afraid there is some sad news on the hand-rear kitten front. The little female passed away quietly in her sleep this morning.
She was the one the vet was worried about from the onset but she did take to the bottle well so I let my hopes be raised. Sadly it would appear her organs, notably her stomach, were perhaps not as developed as we could have hoped for. She certainly wasn't thriving as the two boys were. I was on night feed duty last night and although she'd have a little purr she wasn't very hungry at all and I just had that instinct that she had fought as much as she could. She cuddled up with her brothers after there 9am feed and slipped away.
Her siblings continue to grow like they are nuclear powered but needless to say I'm sad today that Wiggle, as I had christened her, lost her battle.
Afternoon Update: I thought this would be nice to cheer us up after the sad news - the chance for you to see, and hear, Bomber and Bruiser, the surviving siblings getting excited before an afternoon feed.

I'm sorry, Beki. You gave her a lot of love while she was here, which was good for both of you.

I'm really sorry to hear about your little kitten :-( She may have had a short life, but you made it a happy one.
The video is lovely, they are so cute.
