Biography

Oooh, this feels like a very uncomfortable date but here goes...

I am a thirty-something. Perhaps that is enough said?!

I work as a freelance PR in motorsport and very much enjoy it because I am so hugely proud of the people I work with, whom I'll no doubt witter on about during this blog like a stage mother.

However, I also have a love of comedy, entertainment and writing which is an area I am looking to explore further...hence this blog, a toe in the water (I'm going to drown *argh!*)

I am ecletic in my tastes of, well everything.

I like the smell of hot water bottles.

To the best of my knowledge I have never eaten avocado.

I have never seen, and plan never to see, Jurassic Park after being driven mad by the hyper marketing when it was first released.

Ditto - Harry Potter

I've had three babies named after me

I have no fillings

I like to eat cottage cheese with prawn cocktail flavoured crisps

I believe in life after death, life before death I am not as sure of

I have a strong dislike of private number plates

I was a good skier as a youngster though I have never been sporty but secretly wish I was

Michael Jackson once told me he liked the hat I was wearing

I love art nouveau and art deco

The first concert I ever went to was David Bowie. Mum told the school I had a hospital appointment to get me out of an exam that day so we could travel to Sunderland.

I listen to music and comedy everyday

I think ballroom dancing is beautiful and dream of being taught to waltz by Brian Fortuna

I'm a natural blonde underneath the raspberry

My favourite film is The Go-Between

I try to only paddle in self pity, if I swam in it you'd never see me again, that and it uses up time for feeling guilty about nothing

Having said that I am a glass half full person

I love Carry On films

I never wear footwear around the house. My feet are truly minging (as I believe the 'kids' say)

Interests

music, comedy, reading, motorsports, concerts, my cats, radio comedy & drama, the odd spot of gardening, talking nonsense
